Making An Impact;Socially

Christians need to be making an impact in our country in five areas; physically, mentally, socially, spiritually and financially.

Our society is literally out of hand and messed up.  Where are the Christians?

It’s becoming more common to see Christian socializing with only Christians.

I think it’s mainly because they are afraid to come out of their comfort zone.

It could be because we’ve been so intimidated by those who aren’t that we are timid to become socialites.

Jesus was a socialite.  He ran so much with society that the religious crowd criticized him for it.

He knew that in order to make an impact on his country and culture that he had to be among them and be a part of them.

I’m amused how bold some people are at church and how timid these same people are outside of the four walls.  I’ve seen some in business meetings be so bold that if they acted that way in public they would be literally beaten, bruised and some may perhaps be killed out of hatred.

Christians cannot afford to be politically correct in many circumstances.  Neither can we just stand around and allow the separation between church and state to become code for we just don’t want God in America.

We can’t allow our counties, like Chesterfield, to continue saying we cannot pray in Jesus name at the opening of their business meetings. We can impact this area by Christians voting out the men who support this and don’t have the guts to stand up to the ACLU.

Christians, I strongly urge you impact your society.  I’m building a church based on seeing people leave ready and wanting to impact the world.

I’m building people who want to do more than just be entertained. They want to do something about their society.

That’s what I think about it.
